Offers survivor services, including advocacy, counseling, legal assistance and support groups.

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, HAWC’s community-based services will be available at 978-744-8552 via phone during regular business hours (Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM) and by calling our 24-hour hotline at 1-800-547-1649 after hours. Our offices in Salem, Lynn, and Gloucester will be closed to the public until May 4. Our 24-hour hotline and Emergency Shelter will still be in operation during this time period.

GLSS’s Women’s and Family Abuse Program provides help to men and women age 50 and older living in communities throughout the North Shore and Cape Ann who are victims of domestic violence. Although GLSS has suspended its in-person and in-home services, GLSS continues to offer the following services remotely:
Support, education, and advocacy
One-on-one confidential counseling
Group and family counseling
Legal assistance, both to protect you and to make sure your interests and assets are protected
Links to many other services from GLSS and its partner agencies, to help you live safely and independently within the community
