Legal Assistance for Cambodian-American Community
If you are a member of the Cambodian-American community and need legal assistance, Northeast Legal Aid has representatives available to help you. Please click the video below for more information in Khmer.
Statement on Asian-American Violence
Given the recent reports in the United States of an increasing number of racist and xenophobic incidents of harassment and violence against Asians, Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders, Northeast Legal Aid would like all such communities in its service area to know that Northeast Legal Aid is here to stand with them and support them. Northeast Legal Aid will do all it can to oppose such iniquitous behavior. Please contact Northeast Legal Aid if you believe you are a victim of discrimination or other injustice.
Racial Injustice Statement
In these difficult times, marked by the tragic death of George Floyd, Northeast Legal Aid, and its affiliate Northeast Justice Center, express their heartfelt concern for all those throughout our community and elsewhere in the United States, who endure racial injustice and discrimination or are deprived of equal opportunity or other fundamental rights.
We pledge to turn the current anguish suffered by so many into a recommitment to our principal goals — equal justice for all under law and a fair opportunity for all to enjoy the blessings of liberty.
We welcome all our clients, community partners and supporters to join with to steadfastly pursue these goals. Thank you.
